This weekend, my family and I were able to check out the annual Classic Consoles & Arcade Gaming (CCAG) event in the Cleveland area. I don’t believe I’ve been to a strictly video gaming event since the 2019 Midwest Gaming Classic, so it was a welcome experience that wasn’t too far away from home.
The event was full of vendors featuring a wide variety of gaming-related items. I went into CCAG with my short list of games I was looking for, and I was able to cross six of those off the list. I went in with a budget and was able to pick out a decent stack of gaming items within those funds.
This was my first time at the event, as I had actually never heard of it until I stumbled across it on Facebook this year. It’s actually been held since the early 2000s, so it’s great to see the event has been able to stick around all of these years.
The event featured two soccer fields’ worth of vendor tables, and there were some unique offerings that brought artwork, collectible figures, custom DanceDanceRevolution dance pads, a mini gaming museum, reproduction carts and more to the show. This was on top of the stacks and stacks and stacks of retro games running the generations of gaming.
To get a look at the event and find out what items I was able to pick up, check out the video below!
