GemuBaka Doodle: Bust-a-Move [PUZZLE BOBBLE]

The past couple of months have left little time and opportunity for me to do much of anything creative, but I managed to get one doodle in for the month of November.

The Speed Gaming Live Twitch channel has spent the past several days marathoning Super Nintendo titles, one of which was the SNES version of Bust-a-Move played by FFR Pro 21. In the latter stages of the single-player arcade mode, there is a background full of clocks.

Paying attention to the background, one element really stuck out to me.

The background in this version of the game sees fit to label the clock with VII instead of IX. With this stuck in my head for most of the day, I had to release it from my mind with a little bit of a Puzzle Bobble art gag:

I, for one, can’t wait until the next daylight saving time switch, so it stops being pitch-black dark at 5 p.m.!
