Developers Halfway to IndieCity Goal

Independent games portal IndieCity recently put out a challenge to the developer community and the response so far has led to half the call being answered.

The portal is looking to bolster its initial offerings by promising a higher revenue share with the independent developers if 100 games are featured on the store by Dec. 31. This higher revenue share would see the developer take in 90% of the revenue if achievements are integrated between the game and IndieCity or 80% if no achievements are featured.

If the current tier of the challenge is completed, IndieCity will open up a new tier, which would allow developers to earn up to 95% of the revenues if 250 games are featured in the store.
